haven't posted a journal in a while, so i'm stoppin by to say hi to everyone

i've been really busy lately, some homework and i'm spending most of every spare time at the barn...but its all good i'm starting to really enjoy it here, and college isn't so bad anymore...i found an awesome group of friends that made living here SO much more fun tee hee...i've had a little more time to keep drawing, which i haven't done in a few weeks aaah!!

last week my computer died and had to get the hard drive replaced...that stunk...i still need to download some programs (like MSN messenger, SORRY XIGGY ILL HAVE IT SOON XD) but it's all fixed now

now my phone died, waiting to get the new one on friday...that'll be nice too

soon the horsey season will be over, and i'll have much more time to draw stuff workouts at 6 AM and then riding shortly after is getting much easier...not as painful as it was that first week!

i'm thinking about doing some requests...so I'LL LET YOU KNOW ON THAT! i've been improving a lot more as well, i'm practicing a lot of the basics again

So I realized today that I have 19 more days of summer left, 19 days before move-in to college I'm getting really really excited about it now...call me a nerd, but I'm actually looking forward to doing schoolwork. My classes seem like they'll be a lot of fun, and I've talked to some people who are going to the school so I won't be alone!

I'm starting to put my costume together for Anime Boston next year....haha, can't hurt to get an early start . Right now, I'm putting together Sweden from Axis Powers Hetalia (GOT THE COAT WOOO) because Sweden is just awesome. borkborkborkborkborkbork

On another note, I'm nearing my 4th year anniversary on dA :excitedplz: 4 years already...can't believe it!

Don't really know what else to talk about...keeping busy for the rest of summer, finished reading Harry Potter series again so now I have to get reading my school book. bah XD

Not really that much to say, just that hopefully I'll be working a lot more...I still have a ton of stuff I gotta finish up and get posted!

Long Island was great, we lucked out insanely weather-wise (IT WAS SUNNY THE WHOLE TIME 8D AND ITS RAINY AND STORMY IN GREAT OL RHODE ISLAND) and we had a fun time I WUV U ANNERS and everyone else! as you can see, i posted lots of pics from there already...i also drew a lot when we were there, i'll get the other stuff posted sometime...

Horses are great like usual, I'll be learning hunt-seat equitation pretty soon, so by the time try-outs come around in September, I'll be all set! Very very excited for that...

I leave for college in 2 months. AH!!!!

It's been a nasty day so far woke up early to a pretty bad thunderstorm, that was pretty scary...a few hours later we had another storm roll through, and now it's just really cloudy but light. In the past 30 days, i think about 25 or 26 have been raining...lovely and the forecast is saying it'll be raining/thunderstorms all week! FUN! at least it's not 100 degree swealtering X_X

there's been a LOT going on lately, but summer's practically here!

SUMMER VACATION! Last Friday was our last day of classes, last day of high school. It's a strange, strange feeling to think I'm never going to have a class at the school ever again. Lots of tears, lot of smiles

LAPTOP! Graduation present, love it to DEATH I named it Gabby too, just because :3 haven't had any problems with it whatsoever, and I'm very glad and lucky to have it

GRADUATION! Graduation is a week from today, AHHHH!!! Got our Senior Banquet on Thursday, rehearsals throughout the week, Friendship service on Saturday...and then the graduation parties start >D

BIRTHDAY TOMORROW! I'LL BE 18, NOW I CAN BUY CIGARETTES, LOTTERY TICKETS, LIGHTERS, AND PORN! not like I'll buy any of these anyway... *cough*

HORSES! Haven't been doing much with the horses lately, but with summer on its way I'll be with them a lot more I'm also going to take some huntseat equitation lessons, to get ready for tryouts for the varsity team next fall. Huntseat sounds like a ton of fun, but that also means I'll have to part ways with my strictly-dressage training *sobs* XD

ZOO! I went back to the zoo for the first time in about 3 or 4 months, to visit everyone It was a lot of fun, and I got to hang out with my friend who lives in Florida and I see her about twice a year!

BACK TO SUMMER VACATION! I have a TON of stuff I'd like to do this summer, but can I get it all done before I leave for college in September!?!? IT WILL BE A CHALLENGE BUAHA!

...and I seriously need to get drawing more, I haven't done ANYTHING lately and I miss it :<

FUCKING *SWEET*


First con I've ever been to, but it's not going to be the last after that. I'm wicked tired right now but that's okay because it's a good sort of tired, but I'm really sad it's over I dressed up as Judge Gabranth on Saturday, which was effing FUN and I'll probably do that again next year...might redo the costume a bit cause it got a little destroyed XD; But I still loved it! Just WALKING in that thing was a beast!!!!

At first, I was pretty excited about going but also very nervous. I've never been to any sort of con before, and this was one of the big huge ones that have over 15,000 people. Well, I can say that it wasn't a mistake going because the more people THE BETTER and the more cosplayers to see!!! plus I like having people take my picture X3 it makes me feel special... Now I'm just counting down the days until AB 2010, which is April 2-4 (LOL YUP ALREADY FOUND OUT).

BEST PARTS ABOUT IT:

--Just cosplaying. You have no idea how fun it is to stand there in an elevator filled with "normal" people while you're dressed as Gabranth. and then tell them that they should believe Ondore's lies and walk away.
--Making friends and talking to people Everyone was so nice, I loved it!!
--Photoshoots
--Hetalia Panel and photoshoots
--hanging with buddies in general was fun :3
--spending INSANE amounts of money over a short period of time (lets seeee, I looted a Wild Adapter art book, Code Geass doujinshi, MINI FFAMRAN AND FRAN AND FRIENDS, little Basch and Penelo pics, Sephiroth action figure, MINI LANCELOT <3, a parasol, and a little wall scroll and ho geez I did get a lot O_o; )

so yeah, had an AMAZING time, really wanna go back :happytear: really sad it's over, but hopefully we'll go back next year
