Horse Show!!!

had my first horse show today ^^ a dressage schooling show

it went pretty well, i got 4th and 5th (ew) for training levels 1 and 2; not bad for first time out, scores of 58.7% and 56.79%

bolder was AWESOME!!!!! he's such a good horsie ^-^ i luff him

i wanna go inanother show sometime when i'm not all nervous about it XD

Congrats on entering in Dressage. I got my new horse last friday. (Lightning) He threw a shoe yesterday danget... >> I'm entering him in his first show in a week or two. I don't do english anymore now that I have my new horse. We're doing mostly western events. But since it's his first show EVEH we're only doing like walk/trot pleasure classes. After that we're going to start reining. He's a breeding stock paint. HE IS HUGE...

I'll get some posted sooner or later. ^ ^ He's 6 years old, and 16.2 hands tall. He's a breeding stock paint, which means he has no color cept sorrel. He's got two matching hind end stockings. Lightning's the name.

Yeah. Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Reining, and best of all TRAIL RIDING... I'll also do english pleasure classes and stuff like that. I'll never do jumping or dressage on him. Just because I'm busy enough training for reining. My aunt has a Haflinger/Belgian I'll jump with. He's three and in training. He's really quite the horse.

He's an amazing trail horse (Lightning). Cept if there's a big hill, he likes to RUN down the hill... Just like "The Man From Snowy River" XD

:XD: ah, the fun of that! trail riding is AWESOME! i haven't done much of it, i stick to dressage, but it is a lot of fun :D are you keeping him at your house or boarding him somewhere?

He's at my house. He's so huge compared to our other horses. The others aren't above 15 hands.. XD

:XD: young horses are like that....the youngest horse i've ridden was probably 9 or 10 XD i gotta say, old schoolmasters are awesome!
